Behind the Marks · School decision brief
A clear starting point
for your school.
The School Mental Wealth System, with the Wellness Experts Alliance. A Pamumvuri PVO initiative in Zimbabwe.
- The need
- Pressures beyond the classroom can affect learning, relationships, behaviour and staff capacity. Schools need earlier recognition, practical preparation and clear routes to support.
- The offer
- A school-wide system combining pressure mapping, parent preparation, visible non-clinical first contacts, expert pathways and repeated engagement through existing school moments.
- The first cohort
- The Founding 50 is a planned first cohort. The waitlist records interest and supports fact-finding; it does not guarantee a place, confirm a start date or commit the school to payment.
- What a first plan can include
- Structured assessment and priority mapping; Red Sea Moment preparation and journals; Park & Reflect prompts; a Green Badge pilot; WE Alliance support pathways; and term-based review. Exact scope is agreed.
- The WE Alliance’s role
- Connect school priorities to relevant preventative, counselling, clinical and specialist support. Provider credentials, scope, availability, safeguarding arrangements and any charges are confirmed before pathway activation.
- What the school contributes
- A named contact, access to appropriate decision-makers, agreed staff participation and approved events or communication channels. Existing safeguarding and pastoral structures remain responsible.
- Costs and commitment
- An initial enquiry is not a purchase. The WE Alliance model supports school access through experts and sponsorship. Materials, training, assessments and specialist services may carry separate costs. Scope, fees and responsibilities are confirmed before agreement.
- What will be reviewed
- The priorities mapped, preparation delivered, participation and use of support pathways. Any improvement in learner or school outcomes needs appropriate evidence; activity alone does not prove impact.
- The next step
- Register school interest and identify up to three priorities. Pamumvuri reviews the enquiry, then discusses fit, stakeholder involvement and an achievable starting plan.
