The Wellness Experts Alliance

From “something is wrong”
to a clearer route forward.

The WE Alliance is central to Behind the Marks. It brings relevant expertise into the school support system, so families and staff have a practical route beyond concern.

The WE Alliance — Connect. Trust. Access. Impact.A connected community of expertise

Two roles, working together

The school sees the need.
The pathway connects the help.

Behind the Marks helps schools recognise pressure, prepare their community and agree a practical response.

The WE Alliance connects those priorities with relevant practitioners, organisations and specialist services, within clear boundaries.

Its work extends beyond schools. This page explains its role in the school offering; wider membership and services belong to the Alliance’s separate platform.

How a school pathway is developed

Make the next step clear.

01

Agree the need

Identify the priority issue with the school. Establish what belongs with the pastoral team and what may need outside expertise.

02

Confirm the right route

Check relevant provider scope, qualifications where applicable, availability, consent, safeguarding and costs before a pathway is activated.

03

Connect and follow through

Explain how a family can access the agreed route privately. Review school-level use without sharing private clinical information with the school.

The right kind of help

Different pressures.
Different expertise.

A school’s priorities may include bereavement, family change, exam pressure, substance-use concerns or staff strain. The response should fit the need.

Preventative guidance, coaching, counselling and clinical care have different purposes. The Alliance does not treat them as interchangeable.
